She didn’t wish for wealth or charm—she wished for lasting love.

Four college girlfriends were sitting in their dorm room on graduation night.

Laughing.

Eating pizza.

Dreaming about the future.

The conversation eventually turned to marriage.

Lisa smiled first.

“I’m going to marry a rich man.”

The others laughed.

“A really rich man,” she added.

“One who buys me diamonds every month.”

Megan rolled her eyes.

“Forget diamonds.”

“I just want a husband who gives me attention every day.”

“Someone who listens.”

“Someone who notices when I change my hair.”

Everyone nodded.

Then Sophie grinned.

“Well, I’m marrying a gym trainer.”

The girls laughed.

“Why?”

Sophie winked.

“Because at least I’ll know he has stamina.”

The room erupted.

Even quiet little Emma laughed.

Emma rarely spoke.

But when she did, people listened.

Lisa pointed at her.

“Your turn.”

“What kind of husband do you want?”

Emma smiled.

A mysterious smile.

Then she said:

“I want a man who can make a woman happy twenty-five times a day.”

Silence.

Then the room exploded.

“Twenty-five times?”

“No way!”

“Impossible!”

Sophie nearly choked on her pizza.

Lisa laughed so hard she cried.

Megan shook her head.

“Emma, honey, no man on Earth can do that.”

Emma simply shrugged.

“Mine can.”

The girls spent the next hour teasing her.

Then graduation came.

Life happened.

And they all went their separate ways.

Twenty-five years later, the university organized a reunion.

The four women met again.

Older.

Wiser.

And eager to catch up.

Naturally, the conversation returned to marriage.

Lisa spoke first.

“Well, I got my rich husband.”

The others smiled.

“But after our third divorce, I learned diamonds aren’t everything.”

Megan nodded.

“I found a man who gave me attention every day.”

“Then he retired.”

The group laughed.

Sophie raised her hand.

“And yes, I married the gym trainer.”

The women leaned forward.

“Well?”

Sophie grinned.

“He still has stamina.”

Everyone laughed again.

Then all eyes turned to Emma.

Quiet little Emma.

The one with the impossible dream.

Lisa smiled.

“Tell us honestly.”

“Did you ever find a man who could make a woman happy twenty-five times a day?”

Emma slowly sipped her coffee.

Then nodded.

The table went silent.

“You did?”

Emma smiled.

“Absolutely.”

The women stared.

“How?”

“What does he do?”

Emma pulled a photo from her purse.

The women gathered around.

The picture showed a cheerful man standing beside a large ice cream cart.

Everyone looked confused.

“That’s your husband?”

Emma nodded.

“Yep.”

“What does he do?”

“He sells ice cream.”

The women blinked.

“Wait…”

Emma grinned.

“Every day he walks through the neighborhood.”

“Twenty-five times a day, at least.”

“And every time he rings that little bell…”

She paused dramatically.

“My mother smiles.”

“My grandchildren smile.”

“The kids on the street smile.”

“The old people on their porches smile.”

“And I smile.”

The women groaned.

“You tricked us!”

Emma laughed.

“You never asked what kind of happy I meant.”

The table erupted in laughter.

And once again, just like graduation night…

Quiet little Emma had the last laugh. 😄
